Glass Bead Making/ Flamework for beginners and Tiffany technique
Glass beads workshop
In our glass bead workshop the participants learn by professional guidance the technique of making glass beads. Differently colored glass rods are heated in front of a gas burner for a certain time and wound around a metal rod in a molten state.
This technique, which originated in Murano / Italy, makes every single bead handmade and unique.
Duration of the workshop: 3.5 hours
Minimum age: 12 years
Workshop fee: 60 EURO (All materials are included)
Participants: 3-7
This workshop is also perfect for closed groups: birthdays, bachelorette parties and many more.
Tiffany workshops
With the Tiffany technique a number of artistic glass objects can be produced, such as lamps, mirrors, window pictures or door glazing or jewelry.
With the help of copper foil previously cut and ground plane glass pieces are edged and then soldered with solder.
This technique was invented by the American artist Louis Comfort Tiffany, who made this glass work famous around 1900.
We teach this technique in our workshops since we have over 30 years of experience . We look forward to teach you this technique. For that start with a window picture in order to teach you the technique.
